**COVID Test Kits**Yesterday your student(s) were sent home with a COVID test kit. These kits were provided to all schools by the state. They were sent home, so that parents can test their student(s) before returning to school after the long break. It is voluntary, but encouraged that they are tested. There are instructions included with the kits. Happy Holidays!
**Butteville Minimum Day** Please remember that today is a minimum day. All students will be released at 1:00 today. There is only one bus run today, so if you are able to pick your student (s) up from school, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, the after school program will be closing at 3pm today. Your student(s) must be picked up from the program no later than 3:00. Have a wonderful holiday season!
**Buttevile Weed and Lake Shastina buses are both in route**
Due to ongoing weather issues, Butteville will be on a two hour delayed start time, tomorrow 12/16/21. School will start at 10:00am. Both Weed and Lake Shastina riders will ned to add two hours to their normal morning pick-up time. School will end at it's regurlarly scheduled times or 2:00 and 3:00, unless you are notified otherwise. Students MAY NOT be dropped off any earlier that 10:00am, as staff members are also starting late tomorrow. Please drive safe!

**Butteville Early Closure** Butteville Elementary will be closing at 12:00 today, due weather conditions. We are in the process of getting the kids lunches served and will then start loading the bus around 12:00. Due to the storm, WEED RIDERS will be loaded first and taken to town. Lake Shastina kids will stay in the classrooms until the bus returns and then be loaded and dropped off. A message will be sent at depature, so you can estimate the bus arrival time for your stop. If you are able to pick up your children from school, you can do so at anytime. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Drive safe!
Butteville Sports Update: All basketball and cheer practices have been cancelled for today, due to weather. If your child is trying out for cheer, please download the Team App that was sent out yesterday. There is a link for a cheer that they need to practice.
**Weather Update** Butteville Families, we will keep an eye on the developing storm today. If we need to close early we will send out a message via text and email.
Butteville Elementary will be open as normal today.
Good Afternoon Butteville Families. We will be keeping an eye on the upcoming storm this weekend. Please be prepared Monday for the possibility of regular start, late start (school opens at 10:00am) or even school closure, depeding on how the storm develops. The call will be made early Monday morning by administration, so please be sure to check your phones and emails before heading to school or the bus stop Monday morning. Have a safe weekend.

Butteville Families,
As we head into our final week before Thanksgiving break, please remember that Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are minimum days. All students TK-8th grade will be released at 1:00. Due to the fact that all students will be realeased at 1:00 we ask that you please pick up your child(ren) from school if possible. This will help alleviate the amount of riders on the bus. Please see the attached minimum day bus schedule, to make sure that you are meeting your child(ren) at the correct stop.

**Butteville Bus Notice** If your child rides the 2:00 Lake Shastina bus on Friday's, please note that they will be approximately 30 mintues later than normally scheduled. Our 1:00 bus run will not return to school until around 2:20, which will delay the 2:00 run to Shastina. This will be the new schedule until further notice.

We are sorry for the short notice, but we regret to inform you there will be NO BUS SERVICE to WEED today 11/3/21. The Lake Shastina route will be normal. This only applies to the weed bus runs.

Just a quick reminder before we open our doors tomorrow. All students and staff will be required to wear masks while indoors and on the buses. Masks will not be required for outdoor activities. If your child does not have a mask, we will provide them with one at school. Thank you for your continued support, as we navigate the ever changing COVID-19 guidelines.
