Butteville Elementary

As a reminder this Thursday 2/8 there will be no afternoon bus service to Weed. Also, on Friday 2/9 there are several activities going on, so to help facilitate a smoother schedule we will be releasing all students at 1:00pm. There will only be one bus and all students will be loaded at 1:00pm. The bus will depart and head to Lake Shastina before heading into Weed. If you have any questions or need an update on the buses location please call the office. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We will keep an eye on the forecast for the rest of the week. If we intend to do a late start, we will notify you by 7:00am. Please stay safe.

Due to the current weather conditions and the forecast for the remainder of the day, we have made the decision to send our students home early. We will serve lunch at 11:00 and begin loading the buses for Weed and Lake Shastina at 12:00. The after school will be cancelled as well. We will keep you posted about tomorrow as the storm progresses. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Happy Monday!! Just a friendly reminder that ALL students will be released at noon today. Both the Weed and Lake Shastina bus will head out when the students are released. There is no after school program today, so all students need to be picked up or loaded on the bus at noon. Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Just a reminder that today 11/16 and 11/17 are minimum days. ALL STUDENTS will be released at 1:00pm. Both the Weed and Lake Shastina Buses will head out when the students are released. There will only be one bus run each day. Monday 11/20/23 we have school and ALL STUDENTS will be released at 12:00. The after school program will be open normal hours today and tomorrow. Monday they will be closed.

Butteville Parents, After our practice soft lockdown, we called a real soft lockdown. We had a suspicious person run down the street and into the pasture behind the field. The sheriff was called, and after further investigation, it was determined that it was our rancher neighbor chasing a cow. Safety first! Mr. Bragg

There will be a basketball open gym for boys and girls Thursday 11/2 from 3:15 - 4:15PM and Friday 11/3 from 1:00 - 2:00PM. We hope to see you there!

Today's volleyball game against Butte Valley has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled for a later date. Please check the Stack Team App. for updates all sports updates.

Butteville volleyball tryouts will be held today 8/30 and tomorrow 8/31 in the gym from 3:15-4:30pm. There will be a mandatory parent meeting 4:30, Thursday after tryouts are over.

Friday 6/9 is the last day of school. We will be having field day and there will be a snack shack. There will be chips, cand and drinks for sale. The prices will range from .25 to $1.00

Reminder: Tonight is the TK-3rd Grade & Marimba Band Concert. Students should arrive at 5:30pm and the concert will begin at 6pm. Thank you!!

Both the Lake Shastina and Weed buses just departed school.

We lost power around 11:00 and are still waiting on an update from Pacific Power. We have called the bus drivers to come in early. If you are able to, please head to school to pick up your children. We will let you know once the bus drivers arrive and we have loaded the buses. We need to close school as soon as possible due to no water and bathrooms.

Our bus has been fixed. Monday 5/22/23 we will be back to operating on our new schedule with both buses. Thank you for your patience and understanding with the bus setback. We are also bringing in someone over the weekend to thoroughly clean and disinfect the school. We hope this will help to combat any germs and reduce the chance of spreading the virus that has been going around this week.

Due to unforeseen events we will be switching back to our old bus schedule starting TODAY 5/17 at the 3:00pm bus run. This schedule will be in affect until further notice. We are sorry for the short notice and any incovenience that this may cause.

The first Butteville track practice will be held Monday 4/3/23 in the gym from 3:00-4:00pm.
